This podcast was created by North Central College students -Anthony Palmbos, Theodore VanderHyden, Alexander Perez, Mallorie Clifton & Dylan Dante – who interviewed Kyle Lo Vecchio, Clinical Psychology Masters Student at Benedictine University, as their expert in the field.

In this podcast, we will explore the importance of understanding positive mental health in boys.
We’ll start with key statistics on the most common mental health challenges faced by boys,
followed by a discussion on the warning signs parents can look out for. We’ll also address the
impact of stigmas and cultural barriers that often prevent boys from seeking help. Additionally,
we dive into the role of knowledge and exposure in improving awareness and support for boys’
