Acceptance and inclusion are pillars of the Inside Out Club
We believe that everyone, regardless of gender, income, faith, ability, sexual orientation or cultural background, has the right to live their life to the fullest. Thousands of children participate in our programs each year in a variety of locations and communities. We know that to effectively impart the values of “living inside out” – living each day with character and a desire to help others – requires us to have a diverse array of staff, volunteers and partners that actively promote inclusion. We are intentional about being inclusive in every aspect of our work, including hiring, training, curriculum design, marketing and more to ensure that everyone feels included at the Inside Out Club.
Inside Out Club DuPage prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability
Inside Out Club DuPage will not discriminate against any individual with a disability on the basis of disability with regard to the full and equal enjoyment of the goods and services of Inside Out Club DuPage (IOCD). IOCD will make reasonable modifications to its policies, practices, or procedures when necessary to afford its goods and services to individuals with disabilities unless IOCD can demonstrate that making the modifications would fundamentally alter the nature of its services or result in an undue burden , i.e. significant difficulty or expense (not more than $250 within a year).
IOCD will take such steps as may be necessary to ensure that no individual with a disability is excluded, denied services, segregated or otherwise treated differently than other individuals because of the absence of auxiliary aids and services, unless IOCD can demonstrate that taking such steps would fundamentally alter the nature of the good, service, facility, privilege, advantage, or accommodation being offered or would result in an undue burden, i.e., significant difficulty or expense (not more than $250 within a year).
Inside Out Club DuPage invites persons with disabilities to participate in our programs. If you require a reasonable modification due to a disability to enjoy any of our programs, please contact our Executive Director, Marion Ruthig, at marion@insideouclub.org to discuss.
