Love to work with kids? Inside Out Club DuPage is seeking a Leader to teach hands-on, character-building activities at multiple summer camps in Naperville and Glen Ellyn. Inside Out Club partners with community organizations to offer their campers a four-week series of unique, fun and meaningful activities focused on living each day with good character and giving back to the world around us.
Each activity at summer camp is one hour, and many camps will have the same activity back-to-back for multiple groups of kids; see schedule in the full job description. Total hours are 60 over the eight weeks (9 hours per week for the first four weeks and 6 hours per week the second four weeks). In 2022, the activities the Leader will teach are:
- Everyone has a Heart (acceptance)
- Love Bugs (curiosity)
- A Kind Surprise (kindness)
- Love for Animals (gratitude)
The Inside Out Club Leader at summer camps is responsible for preparing for, facilitating and wrapping up Inside Out Club DuPage (IOCD) lessons at our summer camp partners’ locations. The Leader will provide an enjoyable experience for all participants and volunteers. Experience with children is a must and degrees in education or social work preferred.
