Virtual Event: Thank our military and their families this holiday season

Together, let’s show love and support for our active service members and their families this holiday season. First, we’ll learn about perseverance and how important it is in the military and in our own daily lives – get ready for a mini boot camp! Then, we’ll work hard to make holiday cards for the troops to show how much we appreciate them and all they do for our country.

Our virtual volunteer events have been designed to provide your family with an easy yet still meaningful way to give back right from home. We’ll have your supplies ready-to-go for pick-up before the event (see below for details), we’ll all learn from each other as we develop character together, and we’ll walk your family through each step of the project just as if we were in the same room. Register below to join us!

REGISTER 

Sign up below. It is $10 per child and we have supplies for 20 children. Space is limited! You must register to reserve your spot(s). If you are unable to afford the registration fee, you can select a fee waiver at the end of this form.

PICK UP SUPPLIES

Supply pick-up will be at the Inside Out Club Executive Director’s house, 1109 Monterey Ct., Naperville, starting at 8 am the Friday before the event. You will receive an email if the day/time changes.

The Zoom link will appear on this page (i.e. the event page) 15 minutes prior to the event start. If you do not see the link, call Lauren at 630-605-4011.

DROP OFF SERVICE PROJECT

By Wednesday following the event, please drop off the gifts you’ve made to be donated. You’ll bring these to the same location you picked up the supplies and leave them on the porch – 1109 Monterey Court in Naperville.

SEE YOUR IMPACT

Depending on the nonprofit and their preferences, we photograph and/or record our donation items and/or the drop-off. After we make the delivery, we will send you a recap to experience this last step of giving back with your family.

Please note: Events require registration of three or more families. In the case that we do not have enough participation, the event will be cancelled and you will receive a full refund. Additionally, Inside Out Club DuPage reserves the right to cancel the event due to reasons beyond our control. In that case, you will be contacted in regards to your registration and next steps.
