Virtual – Inside Out Club Gifts for Rescue Animals
July 11 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Dogs and cats need love! Join us in making gifts for shelter animals.
This is a fun way for kids to care for animals, practice collaboration and volunteer with your family:
Even animals are adjusting to a new way of life right now! Caregivers are wearing masks, and may not have as many shelter volunteers able to visit as they have in the past. These rescue dogs and cats need fun toys to keep their minds busy and happy! That’s where your family comes in.
At this virtual event, you’ll be making braided tennis ball rope toys and knotty cat toys for dogs and cats. We’ll learn about the Naperville Area Humane Society, how they’re helping hundreds of animals find their forever home, and all about the power of collaboration and kindness as we help them to care for their dogs and cats.
- Character Traits: Collaboration, Kindness
- Social Causes: Being socially responsible
- Nonprofit Partner: Naperville Area Humane Society
PLEASE NOTE: If social distancing guidelines change and our community moves to Phase IV before this event, we will consider having it in-person with live streaming for those that would prefer to stay at home. If this occurs, we will be in contact to see your family’s preference. Thank you.
