What does #LiveInsideOut mean?
We are working to build a generation of children and families that strive to “live inside out”. What does that mean? We focus on helping kids develop the character skills (i.e. social and emotional skills) necessary to thrive in their lives, schools, and later in jobs and community, which is the “inside piece”. The “outside” part is being connected to the community through volunteerism. All of our programs combine these two elements!
5 Opportunities to Get Involved
Inside Out Club DuPage offers an after-school program, weekend program, and online (Inside Out Club Live). Additionally, IOCD provides parents and educators with two online resources to help them build character and volunteer from home.
Working with teachers, volunteers, parents, school administrators and outside organizations, the Inside Out Club is positively impacting more than 3,000 children and their families each year.
